Excellent library—probably the best in the city for studying in a legitimately quiet environment. I have been all over: NYPL Schwarzmann, several BPL branches including Grand Army, my own home, and other CUNY libraries. None beat this one. The facilities are modern and well kept. There are plenty of spaces to sit down and plug in. If you require ultra quiet space, check out the fourth floor quiet zone. No music, no talking, nothing (see attached photo). Ensure you have a CUNY ID or you more than likely will encounter vigilant security guards who will turn you away. As of this writing, the hours are limited on Friday through Sunday, unfortunately. Personally grateful for this facility because it is difficult to find a quiet place to study in NYC. I hope everyone continues to respect the facilities and the environment and keep the Brooklyn College library quiet and safe.
