It’s a nice park. They chopped down most of the mature trees, but they left a few so there is some shade available in the summer.

There are also many animal themed statues around the park. I’ve counted 4 so far. I wouldn’t be surprised if there were more.

This airport is fairly easy to navigate. We took Public Transit to leave the airport. The confusing part is that level zero is at the very bottom.

I saw cars driving on the level we were on and assumed it was level zero. Nope. There is another level below the level with baggage claim. That is level zero.

Security was pretty quick when we were here. Friendly as well. It took them a few tries to scan all of our things. If you have a Nintendo Switch, that needs to be outside. I know, the rules are different for every airport.

The tram between terminal 1 and D has a better view than the tram between terminal 3 and D. My daughter was disappointed. It's more like a subway, I guess.

I was expecting a bigger mall coming from Toronto. A Montreal friend even recommended this mall as a place to spend time if my family and I had nothing better to do. I was able to walk the entire mall in under 10 minutes. I thought maybe I missed a pathway or turn or something but it turned out I did not. So if you have nothing better to do for 10 minutes, feel free to come to this mall and walk around. I wouldn't call this a ghost mall though. There are some stores open and some bigger names.

I personally didn't have any ice cream. My wife and 6 year old daughter tried some. My daughter loved the ice cream (what kid doesn't?). My wife thought the ice cream was just fine and nothing special. There was a lineup so that is what prompted my wife and daughter to want to try the ice cream. They accept American Express here which is surprising as I didn't see a terminal. It's built into their POS unit. Pretty neat.

These are stairs and they take you up Mont Royal. We came shortly after the snow melted in the city. However, it was still very slippery on some parts on the way up and down. The day we left Montreal, the sidewalks were extremely icy from freezing rain the previous night. I could only imagine coming here after a night of freezing rain is treacherous at best.
