Negishi
I had been to Negishi before so I kind of knew what to expect. Both my partner and I are vegan and Negishi do offer many vegan options which is great.
Their hot food choice is really good but the best part is certainly sushi. So many options and all delicious. This particular restaurant is perhaps a bit smaller than the others and doesn’t look as modern as their other locations. However, the customer service is good and efficient, and the food is consistent with other locations.
I would highly recommend Negishi and the only improvement opportunity I see is that they should go 100% vegan.

Antica Roma
I have been to Antica Roma on multiple occasions with colleagues for lunch but never really took the time to review it.
Normally, I tend to give more positive reviews (4 or 5 stars) but there are two significant shortcomings here that I cannot ignore.
Firstly, there are no vegan options. It's 2021 and veganism has been growing exponentially for years, it's just unacceptable for a restaurant not to have one single vegan option.
Secondly, many waiters do not speak English. It's rare to find a restaurant in Zurich where staff don't speak English so I found it really disappointing that a restaurant located in the centre of a major business district had at least half of the waiters who did not speak a word of English.
Besides that, pizzas are good and the salad that they usually bring as a starter (included in the price) is really nice.
I will probably go back to Antica Roma at some point in the future as it is just across the road from my office but it's certainly not one of my favourite choices and would definitely NOT recommend it.

Le Pain Quotidien
My girlfriend and I visited Le Pain Quotidien for breakfast on a Sunday morning.
We knew the brand as there are quite a few of these restaurants in London so we thought we would give it a go.
Staff were very nice and friendly and they spoke English. The food was good and the menu was clear with vegetarian & vegan options clearly marked.
The main improvement opportunity would be around adding more vegan options which would definitely bring in more customers.
Positive experience overall and will definitely go back.
